This is the hymn from Brihadaranyaka Upaneshad which echoes in all the Kendriya Vidyalayas early in the morning in the Prayer Assembly. Standing in the morning Assembly I feel as if entire India in the form of KVS is chanting. From ignorance lead me to truth From darkness lead me to light From death lead me to immortality Let the light of learning enter into every mind and reach the inner space. The learners coming from various but wide spectrum of life reflect different colours of talent and create a kaleidoscopic rainbow each one different from the other but all emanating from one light, the light of knowledge which can dispel the gloom of ignorance and regenerate a new synergy dedicated to nation building.
